Original block before it was striped
The block was then stripped following a report commissioned by Newham Council.
The tower block was re insulated with Rockwool duo slab and new EWI system from Wetherby Building systems installed along with SideRise intermittent fire barrier
A suitable floor to sky colour palette was chosen
The new A1 Rated Vitradual cladding and Weatherby Silicone finishes were applied
Couple of months after we completed the recladding one of the flats got on fire.
As you can see the flat was completely burnt out both the new cladding and the EWI stopped the spread of flame at the correctly installed fire breaks showing full compliance to its A1 status
